About Norma Gomez, DDS
I was Born in Colombia, where I became a Doctor in Dental Surgery in 1987 at the prestigious University of Cartagena. Then moved to Brazil where I practiced General Dentistry and studied Interceptive Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics. Thirsty for knowledge and in love with my profession I moved to Mexico, where I became an Specialist in Orthodontics at the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, in Mexico. Following my dreams for a successful career I moved to the United States were I validated my studies and graduated as a Doctor in Dental Surgery at New York University. Looking for a suburban environment I moved to Connecticut in 2005 where I have been succesfully practicing Dentistry and Orthodontics. I love cycling, traveling, cooking and reading. I continuously seek information and opportunities that benefit my patients, my practice and my community. I am actively involved with the New Haven Dental Association at the position of Vice-president for 2018/2019.
