About Nicholas A. Videka, DDS
Dr. Nicholas A. Videka, Dr. Nick, is a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1975. After receiving his Bachelors of Arts from DePauw University in 1979 he enrolled in dental school. In 1983 Dr. Nick received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois, School of Dentistry. He graduated with highest honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary fraternity bestowed to the top graduating students. Upon graduation Dr. Nick entered the practice of dentistry with his father. For 10 years Dr. Mike and Dr. Nick worked together. In 1993 Dr. Mike retired and Dr. Nick became the sole dentist in the practice. Since graduation Dr. Nick has become a perpetual student learning the new advances in dentistry. He has completed a post-doctoral study in the management of head and neck pain at the Bethesda Facial Pain Center. Dr. Nick has completed a mini-residency in the restoration of implants through the Branemark Implant System. He is trained in the restoration of all the implant systems. Dr. Nick has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dentistry Esthetics completing the advanced anterior cosmetic course. Dr. Nick has received extensive training in the latest techniques for endodontics (root canal therapy) from the University of the Pacific. Dr. Nick is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the South Suburban Branch of the CDS. Dr. Nick resides in Flossmooor with his wife of 25 years Gina, and his two children. Dr. Nick is an avid sportsman. He enjoys skiing, golfing and physical fitness.
