About Nicholas Ives, DMD
Nearly 15 years of experience caring for the dental needs of adults and children Born and raised in the St. Louis area, Dr. Nicholas Ives attended Fort Zumwalt South High School in St. Peters, MO (since you might ask!). He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia before going on to attend Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2005. Following graduation, Dr. Ives practiced in New York, NY and then Alton, IL before settling in St. Louis. All aspects of general dentistry interest Dr. Ives, who is highly skilled and experienced in providing most dental services in-house, which minimizes the need to refer patients out to specialists. Each year, he completes extensive continuing education. Dr. Ives is also working toward becoming a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a designation bestowed on less than 6 percent of all dentists. Dr. Ives resides in Clayton, MO with his wife Anna, a local architect, and their two young children Audrey and Miles. His passions include spending time with family and friends, traveling, golfing, volunteer work, getting outdoors and rooting for St. Louis sports teams. Dr. Ives is passionate about providing dental care to the less fortunate. He has participated in Free Dentistry Days every year since graduating dental school, volunteered with Donated Dental Services since 2008 and travelled with Flying Doctors of America.
