About Nancy E. Freibaum, DDS
Dr. Nancy Freibaum DDS was born and raised in the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn, New York. As a teenager interested in both the arts and sciences, and deeply compassionate about helping others, she developed an interest in dentistry and decided to pursue it as a career. Nancy attended and excelled at Abraham Lincoln High School where she was very involved in many school activities and was selected to be the co-captain of the Boosters Cheerleading Squad. In 1976, after graduating at the top of her high school class, Nancy went on to attend the State University of New York at Albany. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology in 1980. Dr. Freibaum was subsequently accepted into the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. An integral part of her dental school training was rotations at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and Roosevelt Hospitals. The doctor also had the rare experience of being able to work in the elite private practices of some of the most well-known dental educators in Oral Surgery and Prosthetics. Shortly after graduating at the top of the dental school class in 1984, the doctor moved to the Tampa Bay area. After extensive experience as an associate for other Tampa area dentists, Dr. Freibaum realized that in order to be able to provide the most personalized and compassionate care to her patients, she would have to establish and develop her own practice. Since 1988, Dr. Freibaum has been in private practice with Dr. Kenneth Greenberg in Odessa, Florida. She continues to provide her patients with leading-edge treatment by immersing herself in her profession and taking hundreds of hours of continuing education in many areas of dentistry including implants, lasers, and cosmetics. The doctor is married to husband Ken, has 2 sons, and enjoys playing the piano, reading, and spending quality time with her family watching movies, going to the beach, and traveling.
