About Matthew C. Garbin, DMD
Dr. Matthew Garbin is a native of South Abington, Pennsylvania. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Biology. He then attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta honor society for exceptional work with crowns, bridges, and veneers. Dr. Garbin wanted to continue his training in order to provide the best possible care for his patients and completed a General Practice Residency at Abington Jefferson Hospital where he was chosen as Supervising Resident. Dr. Garbin believes that education and communication are the most critical aspects for providing exceptional dental care. In order to improve his strong foundation, he seeks out continuing education courses that enable him to provide the most up to date techniques resulting in the best possible outcomes for his patients. He believes the most important aspect of his job is to be able to effectively convey the information he has learned through his courses and empower his patients to make intelligent choices and take ownership of their dental health. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Montgomery Bucks Dental Society where he serves as treasurer. In his spare time, Dr. Matt enjoys hiking, traveling, and watching his favorite television shows and movies. He is always looking for new recommendations for things to watch.
