About Mark W. Tournell, DDS
Mark Tournell, DDS, is a second generation Grand Rapids dentist with a passion for continuing education and staying up-to-date on the latest treatments and protocols. Dr. Tournell is a graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School and a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the West Michigan Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Tournell took over as practice principal for his father, William Tournell. He and his wife Nancy have four grown daughters, Krista, Caryn, Kathryn and Maren, and three grandchildren. Dr. Tournell is best known in the Grand Rapids dental community for his meticulous attention to detail and his philosophy of putting a patient’s situation first. He enjoys the challenge of a complex, complete restoration, but at the same time, enjoys preventative pediatric dentistry.
