About Mark Forwood, DMD
Dr. Forwood grew up in neighboring Wallingford and graduated from Strath Haven High School. He attended college at Lehigh University where he majored in Behavioral Neuroscience. Upon graduation, he worked at the Lankenau Institute of Medical Research doing cancer research before starting school in 2010 at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Forwood graduated in 2014 with his DMD and subsequently completed a general practice residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Reading, PA. Since completing his residency, Dr. Forwood has spent the past 4 years working in a private dental practice in Clifton Heights, PA. Dr. Forwood is excited to have an office located in Swarthmore where he has a long family history. His father grew up in Swarthmore and graduated from Swarthmore High School. After his residency, Mark returned to Wallingford and currently lives there with his wife Christina and 3-year-old son, Jackson.
