About Liang Joe, DDS
Dr. Liang came to the United States in 1989 from China. He graduated with number one in the class and received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Jinan University, school of Dentistry in China. He worked in the Oral Surgery Department at the Jinan University Teaching Hospital for one year before he received a full scholarship to continue his graduate study in the US at University of Massachusetts. In 1991, Dr. Liang received the degree of Master of Science Major in Clinical Lab Sciences at UMass. After graduation, Dr. Liang worked as a research scientist at Harvard Medical School, Department of Pathology, and conducted scientific research in the field of Biomedical for a few years. In 1996, Dr. Liang attended Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry and received a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After practicing dentistry for a number of years, he developed strong interest in implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. He has completed hundreds of hours continuing education courses in implant dentistry. Dr. Liang is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), and a regular attendant of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry study club in San Francisco. In his spare time, he enjoys time with his family, wife Rebecca and his lovely daughter Michelle. He is also a huge tennis fan; in fact, many of his tennis buddies are also his patients.
