About Laura C. Bridges, DMD
Dr. Laura Coyle Bridges was raised in the Valrico and Brandon area since 1987. She graduated from Bloomingdale Senior High School and has continued to call Valrico home since graduating from The University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Coyle Bridges has well prepared herself over the past 8 years for the opportunity to acquire a practice in her hometown allowing her to provide “best-in-class” service and technology to her hometown community. Dr. Coyle Bridges is honored to practice dentistry and raise 5 children with her husband, Brad, in this amazing community! At Bridges Dental, Dr. Coyle Bridges utilizes the latest technology to make the patient experience as comfortable and efficient as possible. She is one of the few local dentists that uses the latest technology from Milestone Scientific called “The Wand.” The Wand is cutting edge technology that Dr. Coyle Bridges utilizes to provide local anesthesia for the patient. The Wand is significantly more comfortable than the “harpoon syringe” as it reduces the pain and anxiety for the patient and can eliminate collateral numbness. The Wand can do both bi-lateral mandibular (lower jaw) treatments in one visit and allows smile-line assessment at time of treatment. This eliminates the unnecessary return visit and allows the patient to return back to work or school without a numb face. Dr. Coyle Bridges received her undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. After working in the computer technology field, she decided to continue her education at The University of South Florida to pursue a career in dentistry. After graduating from USF with a degree in Biomedical Science, Dr. Coyle Bridges attended The University of Florida and received her DMD degree from the College of Dentistry. Throughout her time in dental school, she served as class president for three years and was awarded the Delta Dental Senior Leadership Award. Dr. Coyle Bridges has worked in both corporate dentistry and private practice environments. Her most recent practice consisted of 4 dentists and almost 30 employees. Dr. Coyle Bridges has the diverse experience to treat her patients dental needs.
