About Lana Skakun, DMD
Dr. Lana Skakun is dedicated to providing you and your family with quality dental care for a lifetime of healthy, beautiful smiles! She places great emphasis on being an honest, gentle, caring dentist who treats her patients, not just their teeth. Dr. Skakun received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology from Pace Univeristy in New York City and went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Connecticut in Farmington. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Skakun is committed to lifelong learning in the dental field and regularly completes continuing education courses each year. Advanced training in pediatric, cosmetic and sedation dentistry, as well as Invisalign, and Lumineers, allows Dr. Skakun to work with you on a wide variety of dental concerns, forming a partnership in achieving your optimum oral health. From beautiful smile makeovers to easier and faster ways to straighten your teeth, you can receive dental care that is becoming more comfortable and less invasive than ever before! Outside of the office Dr. Skakun enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are proud parents to a son and a daughter and are active in the community. She has been presented with a community health service award and he coaches soccer. Her hobbies include hiking, yoga and swimming.
