About Katie Vanderwal, DDS
Dr. Katie grew up in Mt. Pleasant, MI and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Michigan State University. She continued her education at the University of Michigan where she earned her DDS degree. After graduation, Dr. Katie decided to move to beautiful West Michigan. Dr. Katie initially practiced dentistry for several years in the Holland/Fennville area. During that time she met and married Tripp, who is originally from Wyoming, MI. They decided to stay in West Michigan to start their family. They moved to Hudsonville and have been blessed with two adorable boys, Will and Gray. Since 2015, Dr. Katie has been fortunate enough to have been practicing in this amazing office. She loves her wonderful coworkers and the relationships she has made with our patients. Dr. Katie strives to keep patients educated and involved with their dental health while also trying to minimize dental anxiety. She continues to stay focused and passionate about dentistry by taking continuing education courses and is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Katie loves skiing, boating, going to MSU football games, and spending time with family & friends.
