About Karl K. Wu, DDS
Dr. Wu was born in Taipei, Taiwan and immigrated to the US when he was young. He grew up in Southern California and graduated with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He continued his education and attended New York University in NYC where he received his D.D.S. degree. After dental school, Dr. Wu moved back to Los Angeles to advance his dental training at UCLA’s General Practice Residency program, in conjunction with the UCLA school of Medicine. Upon completion of this highly regarded 1 year program and obtained certificates of completion, he decided to specialize in Prosthodontics. Dr. Wu furthered his dental education at the Veteran Affair Medical Center in Houston, TX, a program that only takes 1 resident per year. Following the completion of this 3 year, full time program he received certification as a Prosthodontist. After completing his residencies, he was an Associate Doctor at various dental practices prior to settling in the West Houston area. Dr. Wu works closely with practicing dentists and other specialists to provide high quality care to patients. He also serves as a consultant to general dentists and other dental specialists. Dr. Wu is a member of The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). He is a board eligible Prosthodontist and is working on board certification.
