About Julie W. Long, DDS
Dr. Long graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She then moved to Houston and worked as a dental assistant for a year before going to dental school. She attended The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. She graduated in 1996 with her DDS and then completed her residency program in The Advanced Education of General Dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, The Greater Houston Dental Society where she holds a place on the peer review committee, The Texas Dental Association, and The American Dental Association. Dr. Long has been happily married to her husband, Rob (also an Aggie) and has a son, Travis ( future Aggie!). She loves animals but Rob has held her to only 2 dogs. A Golden Retriever named Picasso and an Australian Shepard named Bogey. They enjoy outdoor activities of all types. Rob and Travis are big golfers, Travis also enjoys playing soccer, with dad as a coach and mom is usually the team manager. They enjoy traveling and just spending time together as a family.
