About Joshua Lomke, DDS
Dr. Lomke graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2011, earning his degree in General Biology with a specialization in Ecology and Evolution. In 2015, he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dental Surgery and graduated near the top of his class. During his time at the University of Maryland Dental School, Dr. Lomke was selectively awarded entrance to several honors societies, including GORGAS Odontological honors society, Gamma Pi Delta Prosthetic Honors society, and Alpha Omega (AO) Professional Fraternity. After graduation, Dr. Lomke has expanded his knowledge of laser dentistry and its many applications. He stays up-to-date on the latest dental advances and enhances his skills by attending continuing education courses and reviewing the most recent dentistry literature and techniques. Dr. Lomke is committed to providing the best and most advanced dental care to all of his patients.Dr. Lomke is a welcome addition to our practice, especially because of the knowledge and experience he gained while working in his father’s office, his achievements, and his compassionate nature. When appropriate, Dr. Lomke refers his patients to the most respected and practiced specialists. Dr. Lomke was raised in Silver Spring, MD, and has recently relocated to Connecticut. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball, exercising, eating healthy, skiing, spending time with his dog, and volunteering in the community.
