About Joseph W. Stobbe, DMD
Dr. Stobbe is a past Fellow and current Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Stobbe is a veteran of the US Navy and has provided expert dental care in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 40 years. Through Continuing Education, Dr. Stobbe keeps abreast of the latest techniques and technology. He has been involved in service with his family, church, scouting, as the past President and current CE Coordinator for the Utah Academy of General Dentistry. For the last 4 years, he has volunteered at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Stobbe and his wife Cleo are the parents of 7 sons, with 18 grandchildren. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Stobbe enjoys spending time with his extended family, gardening, golf, photography, birdwatching, and hiking in Southern Utah. The Utah Academy of General Dentistry is the organization that represents and speaks for and behalf of general dentists in the State of Utah. The Utah Academy of General Dentistry, or UAGD, sponsors and promotes continuing education for dentists in 17 different aspects of Dentistry. The National AGD organization awards Fellowships and Masterships in the Academy based upon knowledge and proficiency in each of these different areas of Dentistry. Dr. Stobbe received his Fellowship in the AGD in 2007 and was awarded his Master in the AGD in 2011. Receiving a Master in the AGD is the highest award that a dentist can receive.
