About John Van, DDS
Dr. Van was born and raised in the Bay Area and has remained in the community for most of his life. He received a full academic scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles, for outstanding achievement in high school. After earning his BS in psychobiology, he attended one of the top clinical dental training programs in the country at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. Van’s true passion for dentistry shines through in his volunteer work. He is a volunteer with Operation Smile, a medical charity providing dental, cleft lip, and palate repair surgeries to children around the world. With this altruistic background, Dr. Van brings an extraordinary amount of compassion and empathy to his patients. His humanitarian work is what brought him to join Dental Arts of Mountain View, where Dr. Van provides care to the community he knows and loves. Dr. Van has been placing implants and providing cosmetic dentistry since 2011. He is an outstanding clinician who brings expertise in CEREC cad-cam dentistry, endodontics, implant dentistry, and oral surgeries for our patients.
