About Jasmine R. Flake, DDS
My name is Dr. Jasmine, and I am so honored to have joined my mother Dr. Shazi’s lively and dynamic team! Her ability to consistently provide the highest quality care for her patients, while always making sure that her care is personalized to each patient is what I find most admirable. She takes the time to get to know everyone, and treats her patients as the family they have become over the years. Her practice is truly unparalleled, and I look forward to continue emulating that same enthusiasm for patient-centric dentistry and commitment to excellence! I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA where I double majored with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in World Arts and Culture. I went on to attend University of the Pacific (UOP) Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where I served as the UOP student representative for the California Dental Association and the San Francisco Dental Society for 3 consecutive years. Upon graduation, I received multiple accolades including the CDA Outstanding Senior Award and the 1st place award for Clinical Excellence in Implant Dentistry. One of my passions is being able to use my skills in dentistry to provide care to underserved patients. One of the most meaningful moments of my education was volunteering for a dental outreach organization in the Philippines, where some of the patients had never before seen a dentist. I also frequently volunteer within my community, providing free dental care both at UOP events such as Give Kids a Smile, and at CDA Cares events around California. I was also able to lead an Arts and Oral Health workshop in Tehran, Iran with my mom! It was an amazing experience to share together. Since graduation last year, I was invited back to UOP dental school as a faculty to teach first year dental students, which has been such an honor and wonderful experience! I also serve on the Alumni Board of UOP and the Board of Managers for the California Dental Association.
