Pankey Institute where the principles of optimal patient care are a primary focus and have greatly influenced his practice of dentistry. He has taken many continuing education courses from the pioneers in restorative dentistry, encompassing not only the beautiful cosmetic possibilities – dental implants, veneers, crowns, braces, etc. – but also the health and functional aspects of dental care. For Dr. Schumacher, great dentistry encompasses both art and function. TMJ (bite disease), facial pain, sleep disorder, etc. are often rooted in the alignment of your teeth. Dr. Schumacher has been featured in Jacksonville Magazine’s TOP Dentists since 2013. While taking continuing education courses from many of the pioneers in restorative dentistry, Dr. Schumacher developed his keen interest in TMJ (bite disease) and facial pain. To Dr. Schumacher great dentistry is about both art and function. Recreating a patients teeth and bite in a way that will work well and last as long as possible is very important. This also led him to pursue advanced training in dental implants and the use of Waterlase Laser and CEREC equipment for his patients. Continuing to help patients looking for their cosmetic smile re-design is exciting still.
