About James M. Maragos, DDS
Dr. Maragos received his D.D.S. from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1981. He was then accepted into a one-year general dentistry residency at Loyola Hospital, where he learned advanced techniques in treating medically compromised patients and the use of sedation medications to relax the patient. He taught at both the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and Loyola School of Dentistry from 1982-1988, while practicing as an associate in dental offices in Oak Lawn and Chicago. In 1987, he took over the practice of Dr. Don Ourada, D.D.S., and then established his own private practice in LaGrange, Illinois.
