About Helene Shapiro, DMD
Dr. Helene Shapiro has been practicing dentistry since she graduated from Rutgers dental school in Newark, NJ in 2009. After graduation, Dr. Shapiro pursued her career in private group dental practice in New Jersey where she gained pediatric and general dentistry experience before moving to Maryland. In addition to private practice, Dr. Shapiro works at nursing homes and assisted living communities providing dental care to the elderly where she has gained extensive experience in extractions and prosthodontics. Dr. Shapiro is well respected by colleagues because of her attention to detail and rapport with patients. She treats all of her patients like friends and family. Dr Shapiro believes her artistic abilities greatly aid her dental skills. She strives to make your dental experience as comfortable as possible.
