About Hartej S. Sood, DDS
Dr. Sood is the first U.S.born member of his family who are from Punjab, India. His undergraduate studies were in his hometown of Cleveland at Case Western Reserve University, and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1988. After graduating from dental school he immediately started a private practice and has been serving the Lincoln Park area of Chicago area for over 27 years. Dr. Sood is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Chicago Dental Implant Study Group. In addition, over the years, he and his staff have provided dental care for tenants of the Stone Medical Center, St. Joseph and Resurrection Healthcare Hospitals and it's employees. Dr. Sood and his staff's focus is on prevention, and as a cosmetic dentist in Chicago, he enjoys providing reconstructive implants, porcelain crown & bridgework, cosmetic veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign treatment, and maintaining the overall health of gum tissue while improving aesthetics. On a personal front, Dr. Sood enjoys golf, tennis, racquetball, and completed the Chicago Marathon in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Over the years, he has been involved with Chicago Social Club activities and represented Chicago in the 1994 National Social Clubs Football Tournament. Dr. Sood and his wife have enjoyed traveling the world over the years. Together, they both completed the 2014 NYC Marathon to help raise money for Leukemia, and in the summer they also enjoy boating on Lake Michigan.
