About Greg Dyer, DDS
Dr. Greg Dyer was born in Harden, Montana but grew up in Arizona. After high school graduation he came to Texas to attend Baylor University and after graduating in 1984, he knew he wanted to make Texas his home. Dr. Dyer graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988. He attended an advanced dentistry program at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Temple, Texas where he received a certificate in General Practice Residency. There he received advanced training in oral surgery, emergency care, gum treatment, crown and bridge care, root canal treatment, and cosmetic dentistry. Before moving to our current location in September of 1995, he practiced dentistry in southeast Dallas from 1989-95. Dr. Dyer is committed to continuing his education. He has taken over 1000 hours of classes since graduating and has received the prestigious Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry. Many of those hours have been spent on his passion of orthodontics. He has been providing beautiful smiles since 2003. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society and the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dyer met his wife Karen while they were both attending Baylor College of Dentistry. Karen graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, Caruth School of Dental Hygiene in 1987 and now serves as our office manager. Their oldest son is a graduate assistant at Auburn University, pursuing a masters degree, while their youngest son is at Texas Tech University on a football scholarship. Dr.Dyer enjoys going to the lake, fishing, hunting along with woodcrafting and watching Texas Tech and Baylor football in his Man Cave. The Dyers have spent most of the last 10 years watching and supporting their sons at swim meets and football games. Dr. D could always be found with his camera down at pool side or on the football field photographing his kids and their teammates. They also were active in leadership in their church youth group, RA Missions, and choir with their kids. They are supportive of many mission projects including Campus Crusades. They are now settling into the Empty Nest and attend CLife Church.
