About Fred Ou-Yang, DDS
Dr. Fred Ou-Yang graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry (Southern CA) in 2000. Prior to dental school, he attended UCLA and majored in Biochemistry for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Ou-Yang has been practicing dentistry for 10 years. Prior to starting his private practice in Newark, Dr. Ou-Yang has worked in different dental clinics in Palm Springs and Hayward. Dr. Ou-Yang received numerous scholarship and awards during his educational years: including the National Science Foundation Scholarship while in UCLA, Dean's list and the California Dental Foundation Scholarship in dental school. He graduated in the top 10% of his dental school class. Dr. Ou-Yang's passion is providing the highest quality dentistry to his patients in a caring and compassionate manner. He is a perfectionist who strives to constantly improve his clinical skills through continuing education classes in the California Dental Association meetings and whenever he can. He has taken numerous cosmetic, implant, and invisalign classes. Many patients have come to appreciate his dental artistry, compassionate care, and have referred their friends and family members to his care. Dr. Ou-Yang enjoys hiking, exercising, serving in his church, and helping the needy in local communities, such as the Open Door Mission in Oakland.
