About Edward C. Yates, DDS
Dr. Edward C. Yates received his dental training at Creighton University. After dental school, he went into residency in Palo Alto, California. During his time in the Palo Alto VA/ Stanford, he received additional training and extensive continuing education. After finishing residency, he moved to Waterford, Connecticut and joined the National Health Service Corps, treating low-income families for more than two years. In September of 2001, Dr. Yates spent a year with the Mystic Dental Group and then another year in Westerly, Rhode Island with Dr. Mitchell. In the fall of 2004, Dr. Yates bought the practice of Dr. Kathryn Payne in Norwich, Connecticut. Continuing education remains an important part of his professional life. He focuses much of his training on cosmetic dentistry as well as prosthetic full mouth reconstructions. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association and attends many courses and seminars. He is one of very few general dentists who surgically place implants in his office. Dr Yates is also happy to offer Invisalign in his office for many of your orthodontic needs.
