About Denise Nixon, DDS
Dr. Denise Nixon, D.D.S. was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She chose to pursue a career in dentistry upon completion of high school. Immediately following high school, Dr. Nixon attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002. Post-undergraduate studies, she attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry for dental school where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Science (DDS) in 2006. After successfully completing the dental program at University of Iowa, Dr. Nixon worked as an associate dentist in private practice, school systems, and community clinics. She pursued additional training in the areas of cosmetic, pediatric, and general dentistry. She continues to expand her knowledge base through continuing education courses and clinical practice to maintain the most current knowledge and clinic skills in the field of general dentistry. Dr. Nixon takes pride in her education and skills and utilizes these two to provide professional, proficient, and quality dental work. Dr. Nixon works with pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, which is why she emphatically enjoys practicing general dentistry.
