About Dawson P. Davenport, DDS
My interest in serving others through dentistry first started in high school. I wanted to have a career that allowed me to impact another person’s life in a positive way and bring a smile to their face; dentistry was that calling for me. After moving to Metro Detroit in the summer of 2009, my family and I have been active in the Westland and Livonia communities. I attended Lutheran High School Westland, where sports (football, basketball, and track) played a major part in my life. I still enjoy participating in organized sports and attend my alma mater’s football games to watch my youngest brother play (I tell everyone he got his skills from me). I attended the University of Detroit Mercy for my undergraduate degree in Biology. I lived on campus during that time and I grew to love exploring what downtown Detroit has to offer. I also completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy. I am grateful for my dental school experience where I was able to serve a wide range of patients which gave me the experience that I needed to become an experienced dentist.
