About David Traynor, DDS
As part of my introduction, I would like to share my background with you. I grew up in England and relocated with my family to Michigan after graduating high school. I spent an additional year at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor and then returned to London to attend dental school. I studied for five years at the Guy’s, Kings, and St Thomas’s Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, London University. Upon graduation from dental school, I decided to move back to Ann Arbor to live near my family. I attended the University of Michigan Dental School where I completed two years in an Advanced General Dentistry Program and taught second-year dental students. Since graduating, I have worked in several styles of private practice: A fast-paced group practice, a large high-end practice and a small family practice. Beacon Dental is my own business venture and I am bringing all my experiences together to provide you with the best treatment available in a fun and family atmosphere. Beacon Dental has grown steadily since 2008. In September 2014, we relocated in to the village of Dexter. We designed and completely renovated a brand new space in to a beautiful new dental office. I moved to Dexter in the Fall of 2014 with my wife Emily who is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Michigan and our two sons Jack and Sam. I am a caring and careful dentist who is looking forward to helping you reach your goals of dental health and aesthetics. I am sure you and your family will enjoy the friendly atmosphere that my team and I have created at the practice. Our goal is to help you to relax and to take care of your dental needs. I love all aspects of the demanding world of dentistry, but I particularly enjoy cosmetic work. My aim is to see every patient leave the dental office with a bigger, brighter, and more confident smile.
