About David H. Swain, DDS
Dr. Swain spent much of his time in Grand Haven with his family while growing up. He has been living and practicing dentistry in Grand Haven since 1987. Dr. Swain attended Dartmouth College and Northwestern University before graduating from the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry in 1982. He practiced dentistry in the Chicago area and Grand Rapids for five years before moving to Grand Haven. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Swain has always kept up with the advances in technology and dental medicine, ensuring his patients receive the most comprehensive and quality dental care possible. Dr. Swain is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and West Michigan Dental Society. Dr. Swain loves working and living in Grand Haven, and enjoys being able to give back to the community. He has served on the boards of the Ottawa County chapter of the American Red Cross, the City of Grand Haven Human Relations commission, Tri-Cities Strikers soccer club, and Rotary Club of Grand Haven. A past president of the Grand Haven Area Jaycees and Rotary Club of Grand Haven, Dr. Swain also spent many years coaching youth soccer and was the head of the Mission and Outreach Commission at his church.
