Dr. Skopp has practiced dentistry for over twenty five years. His career has flourished due to his commitment to academics, public health, and comprehensive clinical care. Dr. Skopp’s knowledge and expertise in general dentistry, prosthodontics, and implantology have contributed to his continued growth and success. After earning his dental degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, Dr. Skopp completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Prosthodontics. He received a Post Graduate Certificate in Oral lmplantology from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School and is a graduate of the prestigious Misch lmplant lnstitute, which requires an additional 300 hours of didactic and clinical training. With his schooling complete, Dr. Skopp began establishing himself as a leader in the dental field. He served as Dental Consultant to the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and was appointed by the Governor of Maryland to serve on the Governor’s Wellness Task Force. He was instrumental in the Task Force establishing mobile dental treatment centers throughout the city. Dr. Skopp distinguished himself in education by accepting the position of Clinical instructor, Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School, and later as Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Graduate Prosthodontics.
