About David S. Ferry, DDS
Dr. David S. Ferry III was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Jesuit High School and continued his academic endeavors at Loyola University on a baseball scholarship. He graduated in 1974 with a major in chemistry and biology. Dr. Ferry then attended Louisiana State University where he earned his doctorate in dental surgery. It was while he attended Loyola University that he met his wife, Maria Tabio, who was earning her degree as a registered dental hygienist. Upon graduation, they decided to relocate to Maria’s hometown, Plant City, where he fell in love with the people and small town atmosphere. Dr. Ferry feels blessed with a profession he truly has a passion for. He dedicates countless hours to studying and perfecting his restorative dentistry skills. He offers his patients a warm, home-like atmosphere where every patient is treated as a guest. He wants his patients to understand their dental needs and concerns in order to talk about them freely. A respected professional, Dr. Ferry is an active member of the American Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Polk County Dental Association and Hillsborough County Dental Association. When not focused on dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid photographer, fly fishes for saltwater reds and snook, and enjoys golfing and gardening.
