About Bradford R. Thweatt, DDS
I am a native Virginian coming from Tazewell County in the Appalachian Mountains. I attended the College of William & Mary, where I received my BS in Biology. I then attended VCU School of Dentistry in Richmond, where I received my dental degree. Upon graduation, I did one year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Florida, St. Petersburg. I moved back to Richmond to marry my college sweetheart and we now have two beautiful daughters. I am an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and the open air. Coming from a small town, I appreciate family and community involvement. I am also a firm believer in the value of honesty and hard work. I am excited about the field of dentistry, not only because of the enjoyment I get from working with my hands and the uniqueness of each patient, but because it is a rapidly changing field that keeps evolving to offer more options and better treatment for the patient. I am focused on providing quality care that improves the health and overall esteem of each patient. I hope to educate and to place value on the importance of oral health.
