About Bassam Issa, DDS
Dr. Bassam Issa graduated as a dentist in 2002. He attended Meharry Medical College, where he completed a general practice residency in 2009. Dr. Issa completed a residency in Oral Medicine, TMJ Disorders, and Facial Pain in 2012 from Carolina’s Medical Center and the University of North Carolina. He has several publications in the field of Oral Medicine.Dr. Issa Dr. Issa is one of few dentists in the U.S. who specializes in Oral Medicine and practices general dentistry as well in private practice. This gives him the ability to perform a comprehensive evaluation for his patients. Dr. Issa is a member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American College of Maxillofacial Implantology. He, his wife and two children live in Orland Park. He is an active member in the community; he is a volunteer for several humanitarian organizations.
