About Anne Schoenhard, DDS

My name is Anne Spiegel and I'm a dentist here in San Mateo. My practice in General and Family Dentistry focuses on Prevention and Education. In 1991 I moved to San Francisco to attend UCSF School of Dentistry, at the time, it was one of the country's ""Top Ten"". I began to focus my efforts in a career in Dentistry. When I graduated in 1995, I continued my education in a Post-Graduate program at Buchanan Dental Clinic's Advanced Education in General Dentistry. After I finished my Post-Grad program I continued my association with UCSF for over 10 years, as a Clinical Instructor, following my beliefs that by ""sharing our knowledge we all benefit."" After graduation, it was time for decision making again! I spent time finding both a town and a Family Practice where I would feel at home and comfortable. San Mateo won my heart!!! I love the small town feel of all the neighborhoods, with easy access to the ""Big City."" It's very similar to the area where I grew up in New Jersey. Although, I now call the Bay Area home I'm almost a native ""New Yorker"". I grew up about 10 miles west of New York City in Paramus, New Jersey. Don't get me wrong, even though I still go back East to visit with friends and family often, California is home! I even went back East to help after September 11th. I knew that I had skills that were desperately needed. and I was very proud to offer my support. I travelled there as part of a Federal Forensic Team, and additionally as a volunteer. I am dedicated to my patients, my practice and San Mateo, and plan to call this area home for a very long time!
