About Andrew M. Van Haren, DDS
Before he began VH Dental, Dr. Van Haren spent four years working with various dentists in the West Michigan area, becoming proficient in the latest, exciting procedures in dentistry and specializing in patient prevention education. Dr. Van Haren received both his undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Dental Service degree from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association, and the West Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Van Haren strives to make his patient's dental experience an enjoyable one (often with humor) and continues his education in the dental field to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dental care. In addition to his practice, he spends time volunteering on a mobile dental unit that provides care to underprivledged children in schools across West Michigan. Outside dentistry, Dr. Van Haren is an avid golfer, skier, and outdoor enthusiast. A native of Grand Rapids, he likes any time spent with his and Katie's two dogs – Zoey and Brady – and enjoys opportunities to be around family and friends.
