About Ana P. Gomes, DMD
Dr. Ana Paula Gomes is a dentist as well as the owner of the The Elmwood Dental Group LLC. She purchased the The Elmwood Dental Group LLC in 2006 as a partnership and took over sole ownership in 2013. Dr. Gomes graduated with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1997. She then completed her education at St. Mary's and Waterbury Hospitals, both in Connecticut. Dr. Gomes is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society. Dr. Gomes is fluent in Portuguese and speaks Spanish. When Dr. Gomes is out of the office, she finds the time spent with her husband and family is always cherished. She enjoys trying new restaurants, taking cooking classes with her husband, and being entertained by a good book. You will always catch her cheering for the UCONN Huskies and the Boston Celtics, while her favorite vacation spot is Walt Disney World.
