About Amy C. Fillman, DDS
Amy C. Fillman, DDS was born in Pasadena, TX. Her family soon moved to Deer Park where she and her younger brother Travis were raised. Dr. Fillman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Deer Park High School in 1995 and went directly to College Station where she attended Texas A&M University for four years. Dr. Fillman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a minor in Psychology. GIG 'Em Aggies! Dr. Fillman received a scholarship to attend Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Baylor's great clinical program in 2003 and was accepted to an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Oklahoma. The AEGD residency program provided her with in-depth instructions of implant and cosmetic dentistry, as well as fully developing her surgical and clinical skills. Dr. Fillman's training in the placement and restoration of implants has been beneficial to may patients. Dr. Fillman has practiced dentistry in Houston since graduating from an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 2004. She is tremendously skilled and strives for perfection in all that she does. It is attention to detail that makes her a great dentist. Dr. Fillman is extremely precise and treats all patients as she would treat her own family. Baylor College of Dentistry is where Dr. Fillman met her husband, David Laing. They married in May of 2005. Dr. Fillman and Dr. Laing now reside in Katy, TX with their sons Cole, Collin, and Connor, and their miniature schnauzer, Zoey. Dr. Fillman loves playing with her sons and watching them change as they grow. She also loves to travel.
