About Alicia Schraner, DDS
Alicia Schraner, DDS, was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, then moved to New York City to attend college. New York is where you’ll still find her today, practicing general and cosmetic dentistry at Yonkers Dental Arts in Yonkers, just north of New York City in Westchester County. Dr. Schraner attended New York University for her undergraduate studies in biology, then remained at NYU for dental school. While in dental school, she worked at NYU’s Dental Faculty Practice, a progressive dental center that offers comprehensive dental services from a large team of dentists, endodontists, oral surgeons, and other dental professionals from NYU’s College of Dentistry. She was also involved with NYU’s dental outreach programs and awarded honors in aesthetic dentistry. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Schraner completed her general dentistry residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she treated children, adults, and special-needs patients. To keep up with the latest dental technology and advancements, Dr. Schraner regularly attends continuing education courses. She’s also an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Schraner enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and exploring New York City.
