About Alexia R. Lucero, DDS
Dr. Alexia Lucero has been providing exceptional dental care in Sunnyvale since 1992. She earned her dental degree from UCSF School of dentistry and did her undergraduate degree University of the Pacific. She worked as an associate for nine years before opening her own practice. She was a dental assistant for nine years prior to becoming a dentist. Dr. Lucero has been in the dental field for over 30 years providing compassionate, excellent care for her patients. Dr. Lucero grew up in Sunnyvale and attended elementary through high school in Sunnyvale. She is very active in the community serving on the board of a local boy scout troop, visiting pre-school and elementary schools teaching children about their teeth and volunteering at local charities. Dr. Lucero feels that “growing up in such a wonderful community, I want to give back as much as possible”. Dr. Lucero believes in providing personalized, high quality, dental care in a calm, compassionate, family- oriented environment. Going to the dentist can be difficult. We are here to help you achieve your optimal dental health and take care of you. She spends extensive time taking advanced training courses to bring you the most state of the art dentistry. Dr. Lucero is a member ASIRD, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara County Dental Society, and is a member of the Spears Study Club. Dr. Lucero enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, hiking and volunteering. She is an active member of her church and enjoys helping kids and animals. “I decided at the age of 12 to become a dentist. I enjoy helping people, especially people that are afraid of the dentist. I love dentistry more now than when I started 34 years ago. People often ask me what my hobby is; it’s dentistry. If I can help others have a beautiful, healthy smile I am thrilled.
