About Yelena Brikina, DDS
Dr. Yelena Brikina, DDS graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a BS in biochemistry, and went on to earn her DDS degree from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She furthered her education with a General Practice Residency at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn Heights, and also received certification in Invisalign (clear braces), as well as attended seminars on Implants, Occlusion and Esthetics. Dr. Brikina provides a full range of dental services encompassing prevention, restorative, orthodontics, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Brikina is an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT) and the entire practice is amalgam free, with a Safe Amalgam Removal protocol. We offer same day metal free crowns, placement and restoration of implants, and digital x-rays that minimize radiation exposure, fluoride free, BPA free materials. IAOMT member dentists are educated in biological dentistry including techniques for proper removal of mercury fillings.
