About Vito P. Lasusa, DDS
Dr. Vito P. LaSusa attended Loyola University of Chicago where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then began his formal dental training at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He graduated from dental school in 1997 with honors and was inducted into the highly coveted national dental honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After dental school, Dr. LaSusa attended a three-year postgraduate residency in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. During that time, Dr. LaSusa received advanced formal training in complex full mouth oral rehabilitation, digital dentistry, as well as implant surgery and restoration. Dr. LaSusa has also held a faculty appointment in the UIC College of Dentistry where he served as a Clinical Associate Professor working alongside residents in the Advanced Prosthodontics Residency Program. His responsibility was to train residents how to learn reconstructive dentistry utilizing the most complex therapy approaches such as three-dimensional digital technology for diagnosis, planning, and restoration with dental implants. Dr. LaSusa holds memberships in numerous professional organizations including, the American Dental Association, American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontists, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Chapter of the Seattle Study Club. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. LaSusa enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, being outdoors, and traveling.
