About Timothy G. Wilson, DDS
Dr. Wilson is not your average dentist. He drives a truck, not a sports car, loves to make a stop at the Circle K for a Dr. Pepper, and became a dentist to be able to spend time with his family. A fifth generation Tucson native and son of a dentist, he began developing his strong work ethic as a boy hauling hay. As a young man he served a two year mission for the LDS church in Nagoya, Japan and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona. After graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1988, he returned to Tucson, opened his practice, and has been here ever since. Dr Wilson has been happily married to his wife Jill for over 30 years. They have two daughters, two sons-in-law, one son who is also married, three wonderful granddaughters and three grandsons. He is very invested in his family and enjoys spending time with them. Some of his favorite hobbies include 4-wheeling, fishing, hunting, gardening, bird watching, playing with his two dogs, and pretty much anything that can be done outside. He is also very active in his church and has served the Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster several times. His most recent adventure has been the acquisition of an old farm which keeps him busy on the tractor. He has a small herd of cows, all given names by his grandkids. Committed to professional development and lifelong learning, Dr. Wilson is a past president of The Southern Arizona Dental Society, a former trustee of the Arizona Dental Association Board of Directors, recognized in International Who’s Who of Professionals, America’s Best Dentists, and Tucson Lifestyle Magazine Top Dentists (peer nominated award). Dr. Wilson has been bestowed a Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, a Fellowship in the International College of Dentists and a Fellowship in Pierre Fauchard Academy*. Dr Wilson is also an Angie’s List Super Service Award Winner currently and for the past several years.
