About Tim A. Gutierrez, DDS
Born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX, Dr. Gutierrez knew at a very young age that he wanted to be a doctor to help people in their time of need. After graduating with honors from Foy H. Moody High in the year 2000, he was accepted and attended the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, TX. While in undergrad, Dr. Gutierrez decided to combine his artistic abilities with his desire to help others and applied to the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in 2003 while only a junior. He was accepted a year early into the dental program and left the small town of Edinburg, TX for the big city of Houston, TX. After graduating from dental school in 2007, Dr. Gutierrez obtained additional training in the field of dental implants at the University of Texas San Antonio Dental School and successfully completed the Preceptorship for Dental Implantology. He later earned his Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology and now working on earning his Diplomate. Dr. Gutierrez regularly attends numerous continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest technology as well as surgical and restorative techniques. Dr. Gutierrez is always trying to deliver a dental experience that is completely different than anything ever experienced before. Being an apprehensive dental patient himself, Dr. Gutierrez always tries to deliver treatment in the most gentle way, just as he would want someone to do for him. While in dental school Dr. Gutierrez met and married the love of his life, Ruby, and they now live in Katy, TX where they are raising two young men, Matthew & Jonah. When not restoring teeth, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys spending time with his family, playing/watching sports with his wife & two boys, and salt water fishing.
