About Terry Chin, DMD
Dr. Chin provides the highest level of comprehensive and compassionate dental care to each patient. Her practice utilizes the latest in dental technology to provide treatment in the most comfortable, gentle, and efficient manner. Dr. Chin has been practicing in Sacramento since 1994. She graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1989 and then completed a two year advanced education in general dentistry clinical program at the University of California San Francisco's Buchanan Dental Clinic. After completing her residency, Dr.Chin was hired as an Assistant Director of that program and also as a faculty member at the UCSF School of Dentistry. Trish has worked with Dr. Chin as a hygienist since 2014. She is an integral part of our practice and provides excellent preventative care and education to our patients during dental cleanings and periodontal therapy. Shari was Dr. Chin's registered dental assistant from 2005 until 2006 when she took over the position of business manager. As the primary front office person, Shari takes an active interest in coordinating the dental treatment services for each patient by scheduling appointments, reviewing insurance coverage and benefits, and answering any questions related to treatment plans. Larissa has been a dental hygienist with Dr. Chin since 2014. Larissa is with us part-time because she is a Dental Hygiene Adjunct Professor at the Sacramento City College Dental Hygiene program. Larissa will still work with patients on preventative oral health and in managing complex periodontal cases. Winnie-Anne worked with Dr. Chin from 2007 through 2010. She then worked as a stay at home mom, but we are thrilled to have her back in the office full-time. Winnie-Anne has fifteen years of experience and is a caring and conscientious professional and an essential part of our office.
