About Sylvan S. Stern, DDS
Dr. Sylvan S. Stern, DDS, has been helping people eat in comfort and smile with confidence for over 30 years. Born in New York City, Dr. Stern attended City University, where he was nominated to Phi Beta Kappa and obtained a BA degree with Cum Laude and Honors in Biology. He graduated from New York University School of Dentistry in 1977 and was a dentist in the US Navy in the Philadelphia Regional Dental Center from 1977-1979. He relocated to Michigan with his wife in 1981. Dr. Stern was rewarded with a United States Patent in January 1995 for a method to fabricate dental crowns. In his spare time, Dr. Stern enjoys sailing, music, traveling to see natural and man-made wonders, and spending time with his family.
