About Steven F. Hinchey, DMD
Dr. Steven Hinchey grew up in Glastonbury, attended East Catholic High School and graduated from Fairfield University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine and practiced in Hartford before moving to Glastonbury in 1981. He maintains continuing education and has been certified in implant placement, laser technology and cad/cam prosthetics A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Hinchey attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest technologies and treatment techniques. His areas of interest include dental implant placement, cad-cam dental design, and oral ecology. When not caring for his wonderful patients, Dr. Hinchey officiates Dr. Steven Hinchey lacrosse and trains high school, college and international men’s lacrosse officials. He helped to start the Glastonbury Lacrosse Club and served as their first coach. In 2016, he was inducted into the Connecticut Chapter of US Lacrosse Hall of Fame. His greatest joys are his wife Debbie, his three children Ryan, Scott and Caitlyn, and his two grandchildren.
