About Steven C. Bunting, DDS
Steven C. Bunting knew he wanted to be a dentist at an early age. His mother was the manager of a dental practice, and Steven grew up appreciating the rigorous, intricate work of a dentist. A Virginia native, Dr. Bunting graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1983. His inspiration and commitment to become an outstanding dentist motivated him to complete a four-year college curriculum in just three years. He went on to graduate from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1986. During that time, he was awarded the A.D. Williams Fellowship Award for Research. He completed General Practice Residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry as well as the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. As further evidence of Dr. Bunting’s dedication to excellence, he passed three Dental Boards: Southern Regional Testing Agency (SRTA), recognized by 26 states; North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners (NERB); and the Florida Dental Licensure Exam. Most dentists take only one Board exam Since then, the cornerstone of Dr. Bunting’s dental practice is 30 years experience with innumerable happy, trusting, and deeply valued patients. He is gifted with the ability to mesh both science and artistry to create beautiful, natural smiles for his patients. Dr. Bunting has a deep commitment to continuing education. Most outstanding of his studies is his completion of the world renowned Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dental Studies, earning the degree of Advanced Training in Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Bunting's commitment to excellence in dentistry can only be matched by his devotion to his wife, Shawn, and family. His oldest son, Craig graduated from Moravian College and is working as a regional product trainer for BMW North America. Jackie graduated from The University of Scranton and is a project manager with the Stephen Gould Corporation in NYC. His younger son, Eric graduated from Boston College and is at Colorado State University . He will graduate with a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences, June 2020. Dr. Bunting enjoys spending time with his family sailing, playing tennis and golf. The Bunting family are long time members of St. Anthony of Padua in Ambler. They are members of Huntingdon Valley Country Club for the past 12 years. Dr. Bunting is an active member of Spear Education, one of the world’s most respected and comprehensive continuing education resources. Passionate about dentistry and committed to a lifetime of clinical learning and professional development, Dr. Bunting and his dental team are dedicated to providing the highest level of care. Dr. Bunting has extensive training in the placement and restoration of single and multiple dental implants. He is certified in the use of various implant systems, which helps patients chew and smile with confidence. Since 1992, Dr. Bunting has been on the Surgery Medical Staff of Holy Redeemer Hospital & Medical Center, Meadowbrook, PA. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, Philadelphia County Dental Society, and Dr. Bunting is a member of the Montgomery/Bucks County Dental Society. Dr. Bunting is the past president of a Suburban Study Club, both teaching and learning from his peers on a regular basis. He continues to advance his practice by regularly attending the Spear Institute for Dental Studies in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Bunting's commitment to excellence in dentistry can only be matched by his devotion to his wife, Shawn, and family.
