About Sherry Vakilian, DDS
Dr. Sherry Vakilian grew up in Iran before moving to the US. She studied at the University of California, San Diego and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Vakilian obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Fransisco, where she achieved a clinical honors award upon graduation. She then moved back to San Diego shortly afterwards. Dr. Vakilian understands that a visit to the dentist is not at the top of the “favorite things to do” list for most people. Some patients consider a visit to the dentist as a stressful experience and may avoid seeking treatment. Dr. Vakilian considers her patient’s emotional and physical well being the most important priority. She strives every day to make she patients as relaxed and stress free as possible while providing them with outstanding dental care. She holds herself to the highest standard of clinical excellence and believes that it is her duty to consult with every patient individually, explain all treatment options clearly, and answer any questions that they have.
