About Sharitha V. Uchil, BDS

Expert prosthodontist, Sharitha Uchil, BDS, MDS, brings more than half a decade of experience in general, preventive, and implant dentistry to SAAV Prosthodontics P.C. in Livonia, Michigan, serving men and women throughout Wayne County. Dr. Uchil began her professional pursuits at Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Sciences in Bengaluru, India, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Dr. Uchil subsequently moved to the United States to pursue a career in prosthetic dentistry. Upon arriving in the US, Dr. Uchil enrolled at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, Texas. There, she completed a preceptorship in oral maxillofacial radiology and prosthodontics. During her preceptorship, Dr. Uchil worked with maxillofacial oncology patients while on rotation at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, providing restorative dental care to oral cancer patients. Following her preceptorship, Dr. Uchil decided to pursue her post-graduate education. She earned her Master of Science in dentistry and a certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Texas School of Dentistry, Houston. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Uchil loves helping her patients achieve healthier and more attractive smiles. She’s especially skilled at reassuring anxious patients and always sets aside plenty of time to explain procedures with total transparency. Outside the office, Dr. Uchil holds membership in several professional organizations including the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American College of Prosthodontists.
