About Sara Kellogg, DDS
Dr. Sara Kellogg is proud to provide all aspects of comprehensive dentistry to Jackson county and surrounding areas. She loves practicing patient centered dentistry and partnering with her patients to create customized, comprehensive individualized care. Dr. Kellogg believes that while in her care, patients should feel safe, well-informed and heard. She believes that optimal oral health is critically important and that everyone should have the opportunity to fully understand their own state of health. Dr. Kellogg is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She graduated near the top of her class and was awarded the Comprehensive Care Award by her faculty members. Immediately following dental school, she completed a residency program at the University of Michigan and VA Hospitals in Ann Arbor. She continues to be actively involved with her alma mater as a member of the Board of Governors at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Kellogg is a Michigan native and has practiced in the greater Jackson area since the onset of her career. She grew up in a small town in the ‘thumb’ of Michigan and has always loved being a small-town girl. Dr. Sara is married and is the proud mother of two children, Trenton and Devyn. When she isn’t practicing dentistry, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She takes great joy in chasing her children around all of their activities and in particular loves watching them play sports. She loves being involved and enjoys coaching her daughter’s basketball team. In her (limited) spare time, she loves traveling, reading, running outside and on her Peloton! Dr. Kellogg has a fierce love of learning and has logged hundreds of hours of continuing education in efforts to better herself as a clinician, leader and a teacher. Her passion for learning led her on her journey to the Pankey Institute, where she continued to refine her technical and behavioral skills and adapted a comprehensive approach to dentistry. Her affiliation to the Pankey Institute afforded her the opportunity to begin to study with Dr. Latz and other like-minded dentists in small groups. She is an active member of the Pankey Institute, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the American Equilibration Society (AES), and now serves as a member of the advisory board and visiting faculty of the Pankey Institute. She has advanced knowledge and training and takes great joy in treating the TMJ, disorders of TMJ (TMJD), bite disorders, smile makeovers, cosmetic dentistry and additionally enjoys dental photography. She approaches dentistry with passion, precision and when combined with her artistic approach it results in beautiful accuracy and outcomes for her patients!
