About Sami Yousuf, DDS
Dr. Yousuf graduated from the State University of New York Stony Brook, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science. He received his Doctorate Degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Yousuf furthered his study by obtaining a degree of Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia in 1998. In 2005, Dr. Yousuf was awarded a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, where he demonstrated an exceptional interest in the advancement of Implant Dentistry. In 2006, Dr. Yousuf completed advanced training in cosmetic and smile makeover dentistry under the supervision of acclaimed cosmetic dentist Dr. Larry Rosenthal in New York City. Dr. Yousuf has been in a private practice in Norwich, CT since 1998, and East Lyme, CT since 2000. He is an active member of the New London County Dental Society, Connecticut State Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantology and International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. In his time away from the practice and study of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his 3 daughters, hiking, cooking and golf.
